Delecroix

I bought some new books related to painting recently, which I’m kind of excited about.  I found this Eugene Delecroix quote taken from a journal entry written May 15th, 1824.

“What moves men of genius, or rather, what inspires their work, is not new ideas, but their obsession with the idea that what has already been said is still not enough”
